DATIN ZALEHA OMAR

Datin Zaleha Omar has over 30 years of corporate experience in Training, Human Resource Management and Organizational Development, having worked in various industries that include rubber industry, property, books, hospital/healthcare, textile, skincare and beauty. Her career in those industries has taken her to experience countries like USA, Europe, UK and the Asia Pacific.
Datin Zaleha graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Business Management. She also holds a Diploma in Rubber & Plastic Technology, an International Certificate in Human Resource Management and an International Certificate in Training Methodology. She is a certified Master/Trainer/Image Consultant trained in Dallas, Texas and at the Robert Panté Image School in the USA. She is also a consultant for the Asia Pacific Productivity Organization (APO) based in Japan where she had conducted courses on Fashion Merchandising in Fiji. She was also a student of several prominent Management Gurus like Zig Ziglar, Bob Proctor, Anthony Robbins, Tom Hopkins, John Kalench, Robert Kiyosaki, Dr. Ary Ginanjar Agustian etc.
Datin Zaleha was the Head of the Management and Entrepreneur Unit in RISDA for 15 years. Among her major tasks were to identify the training needs of 7,000 RISDA employees and to redefine the RM3million training budget allocated by the World Bank.
She joined the Johor Corporation for 6 years and assumed various senior positions while being seconded to several subsidiaries such as the Industrial Development, Johor Land Berhad, KPJSB, and Amiza Publishing Sdn. Bhd.
She joined the SMPD Management Consultancy Sdn Bhd upon optional retirement as an Organizational Development Consultant, and later joined Suhaimi Salleh Associates Sdn Bhd, or better known as SSA Management as the Managing Consultant overseeing their Malaysian Operations.
Datin Zaleha has trained thousands of employees in the field of General Management, Strategic Management, Leadership, Communication, Empowerment, Team Building Towards Synergy, Managing Change, Excellence in Customer Service, Supervisory Skills, In Search of Excellence, Employee Development, Health and Stress Management, Me & My Organizational Image, Fashion Merchandising, Relationship, Marketing, Image & Personality, Motivation, etc.
Datin Zaleha had been invited to be the guest speaker on the “Riak-Riak Remaja” program on RTM2, “Selamat Pagi Malaysia” on RTM1, “Wanita Hari Ini” and "Motivasi Pagi" on TV3, the Education TV of the RTB Darussalam in Brunei. She had also been invited by the JELITA magazine to give a talk on Image & Personality at their “Anggun Bergaya Membina Kerjaya” workshop and as one of the panelist for the 'Dari Hati ke Hati' forum organized by the Women Entrepreneur Network Association (WENA) recently.
